WI 18th Inf Co F. Born in Wisconsin. Civil War: Age 18. Farmer. Blue eyes, light hair, light complexion, 5’6”. Enlisted for one year on 27 Dec 1864 at Green Bay, Wisconsin, as a substitute for Lars Nelson of Iola, Waupaca County. Private. Died in a general hospital at Nashville, Tennessee, on 1 Apr 1865.
