LA 5th Inf Co C. CSA. Born in Norway. Civil War: Blue eyes, light hair, light complexion, 5’6”. Enlisted 25 Feb 1862 at New Orleans. Private. Captured on 24 May 1862 at Bottom’s Bridge, Virginia.
