WI 21st Inf Co I. Residence: Neenah, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. Born in Christiania, Norway. Civil War: Age 18. Farmer. Unmarried. Gray eyes, light hair, light complexion, 5’6”. Enlisted for three years on 14 Aug 1862 at Neenah. Mustered 5 Sep 1862 at Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Private. Wounded in his right shoulder in the battle at Altoona Mountain, Georgia.
