Blue eye, light hair, light complexion, 5’9¼”. Enlisted for three years on 6 Aug 1862 at Mt. Carroll. Mustered 4 Sep 1862 at Rockford, Illinois. Private. Discharged from the service 2 Feb 1863 at Danville, Kentucky, by order of General Granger [looks like].
