WI 22nd Inf Co G. Residence: Jordan, Green County, Wisconsin. Baptized 19 Sep 1813 at Voss, Hordaland, Norway, son of Gullik Olsen Kinne and Randvei Erichsdatter Saude. Married 18 Jun 1839 to Torbjor Larsdatter Bjorke. Came to America with their infant daughter, Ranvei. They sailed from Bergen on the “Kong Sverre” reaching New York on 30 Jun 1845. Civil War: Married. Age 45. Enlisted for three years on 8 Aug 1862 at Monroe, Wisconsin. Mustered 1 Sep 1862 at Camp Utley, Racine, Wisconsin. Private. Discharged from the service 17 Oct 1864 on account of wounds received in action on 5 Mar 1863. Post war: Buried at Jordan, “1818 – 1869”.
