GUNDERSON, John
Born “Johan Gundersen Hagen” in 1830 in Biri, Norway. Married in 1853 to Helene Elisdatter Stumliødegård. Eight children. Came to America in 1857. Civil War: Enlisted in 1863. Private. Discharged in 1865. Private. Post war: Lived at Chaseburg, Wisconsin. He died in 1910 and is buried in the Middle Coon Valley churchyard. Sources: (Ulvestad p285, 286) (Oudenstad p148)
