WI 28th Inf Co C. Residence: Oconomowoc, Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Born in Norway. Civil War: Laborer. Unmarried. Age 24. Blue eyes, brown hair, florid complexion, 5’11½”, stout build. Enlisted for three years on 14 Aug 1862 at Oconomowoc. Mustered 13 Oct 1862 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Private. Promoted to Corporal on 3 Feb 1863.
