WI 15th Inf Co C. Residence: East Randolph, Columbia County, Wisconsin. Civil War: Age 31. Married. Enlisted for three years on 2 Dec 1861 at Madison, Wisconsin, and mustered there on 10 Dec 1861. Private. Wounded at Stone's River, Tennessee, 30 Dec 1862, and sent to hospital at Nashville, Tennessee; then on to the camp at Denison, Ohio; then to Cincinnati, Ohio, and on to Louisville, Kentucky.
