WI 33rd Inf Co E. Residence: Spring Valley, Rock County, Wisconsin. Born 22 Oct 1839 in Norway. Father was Levor Lee. Came to US to Rock County, Wisconsin, in 1857. Civil War: Farmer. Age 21. Married. Gray eyes, dark hair, dark complexion, 5’5”, light build. Enlisted for three years on 15 Aug 1862 at Janesville, Wisconsin. Mustered 18 Oct 1862 at Camp Utley, Racine, Wisconsin. Bounty paid at muster $25, of $100 total. Private. Post war: Came to Worth County, Iowa, in 1871. Wife named Guri. Tollef died 30 Sep 1918 at Bristol Township, Worth County, Iowa.
