WI 1st Inf Co B. Born 1840 in Norway, son of James Lund and Catherine. Came to America in 1847 with his parents and four siblings. They came to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where James Lund worked as a sailor. Civil War: Post war: In 1866, he was a sailor on the Great Lakes. Sources: (Naeseth ’47-1275)
