Said to have been a prisoner in Andersonville. Transferred to Invalid Corps, 3 Oct 1865. Post war: Moved from Minnesota to Steele County, Dakota Territory, in April 1876. Married. Two sons. Died at Hatton, North Dakota, in 1901.
