WI 22nd Inf Co I. Married to Martha. Came to America from Stavanger, Norway, in June 1844. Came to Racine County, Wisconsin. Civil War: Wounded in the battle of Spring Hill on 4-5 Mar 1865. Died of his wounds at Columbia, Tennessee. Buried at Luther Valley, Beloit, Wisconsin; stone reads “1810 – 1863”.
