WI 22nd Inf Co H. Residence: Racine, Racine County, Wisconsin. Born in Denmark. Civil War: Carpenter. Married. Age 43. Blue eyes, brown hair, light complexion, 5’6¾”. Enlisted for three years on 13 Aug 1862 at Racine. Mustered 1 Sep 1862 at Camp Utley, Racine. Private. Said to have been confined in a southern prison at some time during the war.
