MATHIESEN, William
US Navy. Born at Semb near Tonsberg, Norway, in 1847. Came to US in 1866. No War: Served three years in the US Navy. Post war: After his service, he lived in Brooklyn, New York. He married Hanna Torkildsen from Kristiansand. He owned a grocery store and a yard for building boats and barges. Sources: (Rygg p53)
