WI 1st Cav Co G. Born 1839. Civil War: Age 25. Enlisted 15 Oct 1864. Private. Discharged 29 Jul 1865. Post war: Died at age 51 in 1890 and is buried in Arlington Cemetery, Arlington, South Dakota. A veteran by this name, living in Nordland, Kingsbury County, Dakota Territory, was granted a pension of $3 a month because of wounds to both feet.
