WI 15th Inf Co C. Residence: Raymond, Racine County, Wisconsin. Civil War: Age 33. Unmarried. Enlisted for three years on 9 Nov 1861 at Madison, Wisconsin, and mustered there on 2 Dec 1861. Private. He was sick at Mississippi River Island No. 10, on 11 Jun 1862, and was given leave; he stayed away a month too long. Records at the Madison, Wisconsin, hospital show that he was mustered out there for sickness on 22 Aug 1862.
