WI 15th Inf Co K. Residence: Bath Township, Freeborn County, Minnesota. Born at Nordland, Norway. Wife Sarah (Sigrud). Two small children by 1860. Civil War: Age 36. Married. Enlisted for three years on 19 Dec 1861 in Freeborn County and mustered at Madison, Wisconsin, 11 Feb 1862. Private. Died of disease in the regimental hospital in Edgefield Junction, Tennessee, on 15 Nov 1862. Buried at Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee.
