Enlisted for one year on 25 Feb 1865 at Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Mustered 22 Mar 1865 at Madison, Wisconsin. Bounty $100, $33.33 paid. Private. Mustered out with his company on 28 Jul 1865 at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Post war: Lived in Battle Lake, Otter Tail County, Minnesota. Died 1909.
