WI 15th Inf Co C. Residence: Raymond, Racine County, Wisconsin. Born in Denmark. Civil War: Age 42. Farmer. Blue eyes, brown hair, fair complexion, 5’5”. Enlisted for three years on 29 Nov 1862 and mustered at Madison, Wisconsin, on 5 Dec 1862. Private. Sick in Wilson Valley in Sep 1863; sick also in Winson's Gap. Died of chronic diarrhea in the Cumberland Army general hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, on 17 Nov 1863. Buried in National Cemetery at Nashville; section D, grave 597.
