US Navy. Born 13 Dec 1863 in Sweden. Spanish-American War: Age 35. Entered the service on 2 May 1898 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Oiler. Discharged 27 Aug 1898 at Philadelphia. Post war: Died at age 64 on 22 Nov 1928 of chronic mycarditis at the Battle Mountain Sanitarium in Hot Springs, South Dakota. Buried in the cemetery there, lot 7, block 12, grave 3.
