Stave constructed porridge container with three bentwood bands. Two staves extend upward to form clamps for the cover. The handle has the form of a horse with head projecting in two directions. Surface covered with arch, zigzag, circle, and other burnt (svidekor) decorations.

Sent in 1929 by Norsk Folkemuseum in Oslo as part of a larger group of gifts from Norwegian museums in honor of 100 years of immigration.
