Sixteenth Annual Vesterheim Nordic Fest Raffle
Vesterheim is extremely pleased to announce the raffle of a beautiful plate, hand-turned by Paul Loftness of Gibbon, Minn., carved by Vesterheim Gold Medalist Becky Lusk of Coon Valley, Wis., and painted by Vesterheim Gold Medalist Jean Simonson Giese, of De Soto, Wis. Vesterheim is very fortunate that these talented artists continue the Nordic Fest raffle tradition, and we extend sincere thanks for this fine donation.
This stunning work of art is a large, round plate about 25 inches in diameter. The center is a relief carving of a woman in a dark teal-blue dress with red flowers knitting while sitting on the door step of a log cabin. The outside boarder is a light teal-blue with dark teal-blue, red, and gold rosemaling. The inner rim is red.
The drawing for the raffle will be held during Nordic Fest on Saturday, July 26, at 3:00 p.m. You need not be present to win.
Raffle tickets are $2.50 each. All proceeds from the raffle benefit Vesterheim.
