Become a Vesterheim member and you will receive:
- Vesterheim, the magazine published twice a year, featuring in-depth articles focusing on the museum's priceless collection of artifacts, Norwegian-American history and culture, and related topics.
- Vesterheim News, the color newsletter sent twice each year to keep members up-to-date on all museum events, classes, tours, and education opportunities.
- Discount on class tuition.
- Discounts on most items and mail orders from the Museumsbutikk (Vesterheim's museum store) and the Handverksbua (the museum's folk-art supply store), and catalogs and notice of special sales from these stores.
- Free admission to the museum.
- Discount on space rental of Vesterheim's Bethania Lutheran Church and the Gathering Room in the Amdal-Odland Heritage Center.
- All Vesterheim members can also subscribe to the Rosemaling Letter, which is jam-packed with the most current information about this Norwegian folk art.

Membership Levels
Memberships are renewed annually.
- Associate Member (individual)—$35
- International Member
(residing outside the United States)—$60 - Family (2 adults at the same address, children under 18)—$50
- Senior Family (2 adults at the same address, 65 or over)—$40
Philanthropic Membership Categories:
- Supporter—$250
- Sponsor—$500
- Sustaining Fellow—$1,000
Philanthropic levels include two adults at the same address and children under 18.
