Pockets with Stephenie Anderson
Vesterheim’s Artist in Residence Program is a professional development opportunity for practicing folk art instructors to explore Vesterheim’s collection for object inspiration and future teaching ideas. Stephenie Anderson was selected to participate in the Artist in Residence program in 2024.
In this series of four videos, Stephenie shares thoughts about the history and beauty of textile pockets in Vesterheim’s collection.
The Folk Art Apprentice Program is supported in part by the Dennis and Ruth Green Endowment for Professional Development for Folk Art Instructors.
