Flower Power at Vesterheim’s Barnetimen!
Vesterheim welcomes preschoolers and their caregivers to Barnetimen Children’s Hour. Meet in the lobby of the museum’s Main Building to explore objects and stories in the museum’s collection and make fun art.
In March, participants will explore the many flowers, shapes, and patterns in rosemaling or Norwegian folk painting in the museum’s collection and will create their own flower-inspired designs. A snack will also be provided.
Barnetimen programs are free and geared toward 3- to 5-year-olds, but all ages are welcome. New programs are offered in person at the museum the third Tuesday of the month from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., September through April.
