The public is invited to an open house reception including a gallery talk from Tova Brandt\, Executive Director and Albert Ravenholt Curator of Danish-American Culture at the Museum of Danish America in Elk Horn\, Iowa\, and\, curator of this traveling exhibit.  \nThe welcome comments and gallery talk will take place at 6:00 p.m. Of course\, there will be some delicious bites!  \n\n\nNew Nordic Cuisine is open at Vesterheim through September 6\, 2021\, and explores one of the most influential global food movements of the 21st century. The exhibit is on loan from the Museum of Danish America and sponsored at Vesterheim by Jon and Mary Hart\, Jim and Marge Iversen\, Philip and Sarah Iversen\, John and Birgitte Christianson\, and Tom and Linda Brandt.
