Vesterheim is excited to pair the Innovators & Inventors exhibit with a free lecture series that will bring together some of the most creative and inspiring Norwegian-American leaders, thinkers, and artists working today.
Bruce Gjovig is founder and CEO Emeritus of the University of North Dakota Center for Innovation Foundation. The center has fostered more than 670 startups, which employ 6,000 people and have attracted over $140 million in investment. It also manages two tech incubators and is home to the only student managed venture fund in the nation where students make the actual investment decisions.
Gjovig has traveled to Norway to set up tech partnerships. He is author of Innovative Entrepreneurs from North Dakota: 125 Years of Impact! and Innovative Entrepreneurs of North Dakota and Northwest Minnesota: 150 Years of Impact! with Dr. Hiram Drache.
