Renata Fossett is an avid learner of obscure and historic crafts and loves to share her enthusiasm and knowledge through teaching. Originally from California, Renata has been a resident of St Paul, Minnesota, since 2010 and has led classes through the intricate steps of nålbinding, pewter-casting, Ukrainian Easter egg writing, juggling, knitting, and even making traditional and innovative aebleskiver. Her classes have been hosted through the Society for Creative Anachronism, Ingebretsen’s Scandinavian Market, Northland Recreation Laboratory, American Swedish Institute, and now at Vesterheim Museum. Her handmade items have won ribbons at the Minnesota State Fair in Creative Activities every year she has entered. When not teaching, Renata works full time for Capella University, dotes on her cats, and travels as much as possible.
