Randi Sider-Rose, one of Vesterheim’s folk-art instructors, shows some of her iconography painting techniques while sharing the story of Saint Corona!
Randi Maria Sider-Rose has been painting icons for over 20 years. She has lived in Russia and Latvia for two and half years (as a student, and later as a Fulbright Scholar focusing on religion), and she completed the Master of Divinity at the Divinity School at the University of Chicago, where she focused on iconography. She now lives in Pittsburgh, where she has been blessed by His Grace Bishop Thomas to pursue the work of iconography.
