On Saturday, September 23, 2023, Vesterheim held the first official event in the new Commons building during a visit from former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, Anniken Huitfeldt! The day included a lecture at Luther College, a private tour of Vesterheim, and a celebration dinner with a ribbon cutting.
