Vesterheim welcomes preschoolers and their caregivers to Barnetimen Children’s Hour. Meet in the lobby of the museum’s Main Building to explore objects and stories in the museum’s collection and make fun art.
Explore the many beautiful and useful spoons in Vesterheim’s collection to learn how they were made and used and to look more closely at their shapes and their embellishment before decorating spoons and enjoying a snack.
Barnetimen programs are free and geared toward 3- to 5-year-olds, but all ages are welcome. New programs are offered in person at the museum the third Tuesday of the month from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., September through April.
