Bring your lawn chair and your snacks and refreshments and join us for an evening of traditional Scandinavian folk tunes!

Vidar Skrede and Patrik Ahlberg join their Scandinavian fiddle forces together in this Norwegian-Swedish folk music duo – lynx lynx. The variety of strings includes fiddles, Hardanger fiddles, guitars, and even a mandolin. The mix of tunes includes both their original and traditional Nordic fiddle.

This is what music sounds like between two Scandinavian transplants in the Midwest coming together to share their fiddle tunes.

This concert is offered in partnership with the Downtown Decorah Betterment Association and supported by Visit Decorah. Lawn Chair Night has been a program of Downtown Decorah Betterment for more than 25 years. This free, public event features both local and regional talent on Thursday events June-August in Decorah, IA each year.
