Warm up your winter with a cozy museum visit and colorful hands-on art fun!

The museum will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with free admission and special activities from 1:00-3:00 p.m. The Folk Art School staff invites you to embrace your creative side while sampling color and brushwork in a rose painting activity for all ages. There will also be demonstrations by youth club instructors—Kate Martinson (Fiber Klubb) and Sally Stromseth (Rosemaling Klubb).

“This is a great opportunity to learn more about our upcoming Family Folk Art Fun Workshops and the Family Folk Art Camp this summer!” Lea Lovelace, Vesterheim Director of Folk Art Education, said.

Second Saturdays at Vesterheim are sponsored by the American Scandinavian Foundation and include free admission all day and family activities.
