Join us as we discuss the graphic novel Heroes of the Primstav: The Princess and the Boatboy by Lucy O’Laughlin Tokheim. This retelling of the legend of St. Sunniva, the first patron saint of Norway, weaves together illustrations inspired by everything from illuminated manuscripts to the Norwegian wooden calendar stick known as the primstav.
