You might recognize her as a previous intern, but we are excited to have her on board long-term, sharing her organizational skills, her knowledge of history and culture, and her enthusiasm for supporting the arts. Maddie says, “I am thrilled to embark on a new chapter at Vesterheim’s Folk Art School after transitioning from a year-long internship with the Folk Art Team during my studies at Luther College where I recently graduated with a degree in Nordic Studies and Museum Studies. With a lifelong passion for textile crafting, I am excited to merge my love for art, culture, and history into a singular vocation. This is an amazing opportunity, and I am excited to contribute my skills to the folk art school community in a more permanent capacity.”
