Johan Einar Bjerkem is a storyteller and the founder and director of the organization Hilmarfestivalen (hilmarfestivalen.no). He also owns Bjerkem farm (bjerkem.com) where he welcomes visitors together with his family. He has written six books about tradition and culture: mainly storytelling, fairytales, folk dancing, presentation technique, and history. He is also a trainer in UNESCO’s Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
