Owen Christianson studied physics at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and received his Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering and Applied Physics at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is a research scientist and engineer. With his wife Elspeth, he has shared his passion for the Viking Age through historical reconstructions and reenactments since the 1970s.
