Randi Maria Sider-Rose began painting icons over 25 years ago when she returned from 2+ years in Russia and Latvia and was able to travel to learn from different iconography teachers across the U.S. Since then, she has completed an MDiv at the University of Chicago Divinity School and begun taking commissions and teaching students, including to her current roster of over 80 adults and school-aged students at St. Raphael Online Orthodox School. Randi lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with her husband, four kids ranging in age from 6-20, a dog, and three chickens – ostensibly for providing eggs for her iconography studio.
