Inspired by the old Norwegian Master painters, Teresa McCue Thompson’s work over the last 30 years has included study at Vesterheim and in Norway, and professional practice. Her dedication as a rosemaling artist has enabled her to help preserve the integrity of this highly stylized art form. In 2014 she was awarded a Vesterheim Gold Medal.
