Folk Art Online

Online classes are available from anywhere! So far, we’ve had students join us from a few blocks away and from around the world in places like Australia, Ireland, and Norway. Online classes offer a whole new opportunity to connect people to folk art, and we are dedicated to the growth of online programs in this format.

Look here for all different kinds of online folk-art experiences. Learn new skills, converse about Scandinavian folk arts, make new friends, reunite with old ones—all from the comfort and safety of your own space. We’re so excited to share our programs with you!

Support for these programs is provided by the Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs, and the National Endowment for the Arts through the federal CARES Act legislation; Arts Midwest and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation through The United States Regional Arts Resilience Fund ; and the Huebner Education Fund.
