On February 25, Toppling Goliath Brewery in Decorah included Vesterheim in a celebration of koselig – a concept deeply rooted in Norwegian culture that describes a feeling of coziness, warmth, contentment and relaxed interaction.
This first-ever Koselig at TG was a day of folk music, traditional Norwegian fare, and togetherness. There was a special menu with waffles and Norwegian meatballs; live music by Erik Sessions and The Wildwoods; woodcarving demonstration by Rebecca Hanna; and more.
