The generous gifts we received combined with the matching gifts from Vesterheim’s Trustees and Decorah Bank and Trust resulted in over $154,000 raised for the Vesterheim Annual Fund.

As we begin a new year, we feel so fortunate to be able to reflect on all of the good things that happened last year. Thank YOU for being our partner in achieving these milestones!
- • Support from friends like you helped to expand our online offerings, including online classes, presentations, and programs. (Register here for Vesterheim Folk Art School classes taking place during the first quarter of 2022!)
- • In August, we dedicated Vesterheim Heritage Park. This exciting addition to Vesterheim’s campus showcases the historic buildings in Vesterheim’s collection in an educational and interpretive outdoor space.
- • After an 18-month-long pause brought on by the pandemic, we were able to resume in-person classes at Vesterheim’s Folk Art School.
- • We had our most successful GivingTuesday ever! Special thanks to the Dahl Family Foundation and Vesterheim’s Trustees for their matching gifts on this important day for the Vesterheim Annual Fund.
